Learning Objectives

After completing the course, you will:

  • Be familiar with the regulations governing the prescription and management of medications in healthcare.
  • Have an overview of how healthcare is organized in terms of roles and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop relevant materials for discussions based on regulations, guidelines, routines, and specific unit needs.
  • Practice drafting oral and written reports from a learning perspective.
  • Be able to discuss, recommend, and justify the outcomes of quality reviews with key stakeholders, such as the Medical Responsible Nurse (MAS), operations manager, and unit manager.
  • Apply and integrate knowledge to identify, analyze, and discuss improvement proposals related to medication management in both outpatient and inpatient care.
  • Be familiar with various methods for conducting quality reviews and planning and structuring your work.
  • Understand the risks that may arise in medication management within outpatient and inpatient care.
