Registration terms and conditions

Courses

Läkemedelsakademin (the Swedish Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences) is an authorised training provider certified by Almega in accordance with the quality criteria established by the Swedish Association of Training Companies.

Registration

In order for us to offer all our participants the best possible service, please register your application no later than 72 hours before the start of the activity. When registering at short notice, please also contact the project administrator for the activity via email.

Payment

An invoice will be issued approximately 30 days before the course starts, or at the time of registration if the registration is made later. Payment terms are 20 days.
All prices and course fees are exclusive of VAT. Swedish VAT (25%) will be added where applicable. Participants registering on behalf of a company within the European Union (EU) must provide their company’s VAT registration number when registering.

Cancellation

• All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the responsible project administrator.
• Cancellation received 30-15 days before the event (first day) will be refunded by 50% of the participation fee.
• For sponsors, cancellations made less than 45 days before the course start date will be charged at 100% of the sponsorship fee.
• Cancellation received 14-0 days before the event (first day) will not be refunded.
• Any costs for accommodation, meals or catering resulting from a cancellation will be charged to the participant.

If you are unable to attend the event, you may send another participant from the same organisation. Please inform in writing, the responsible project administrator.

Cancellation in case of illness

If a participant is unable to attend due to illness, they may attend the next available course to complete the missed parts. No refund will be provided.
If the illness relates to a non-recurring event, 50% of the course fee will be refunded. Any costs for meals, accommodation and other non-refundable arrangements will be charged.

In both cases a medical certificate is needed.

Cancellation and change of event dates by Läkemedelsakademin

Läkemedelsakademin reserves the right to modify the program, speakers, venue, or transition to distance education. Additionally, Läkemedelsakademin may cancel or reschedule an event. In such cases, the full participation fee will be refunded. However, Läkemedelsakademin does not cover any other expenses incurred due to the cancellation.

List of participants

We usually share a participant list during the course. Many participants request such lists, and we consider networking to be an important part of professional development. The participant list includes first name, last name and organisation. The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest. If you do not want your name and organisation to be included in the participant list, please notify the project administrator when registering, or as soon as possible thereafter. If you have any questions about the participant list, please contact the responsible project administrator.

Course Materials

Most courses and conferences organised by Läkemedelsakademin include course materials, such as digital resources, presentation handouts, exercises and other supporting documentation. After the course, participants may use these materials for their own personal use. The materials may not be copied, distributed to third parties or used for commercial purposes.

Audio and Video Recording

Audio and video recording by participants during Läkemedelsakademin’s courses and conferences is not permitted.

Privacy Policy

Läkemedelsakademin processes participants’ personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and has procedures in place to ensure that personal data is handled securely and responsibly. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.

 

E-courses

Payment and access to e-course

Payment is made at the time of registration, either by card or by invoice. Private individuals can only pay by card. Access to the e- course is granted immediately upon registration, and the licence period begins at the same time.

Cancellation of e-courses

All cancellations must be made in writing by e-mail to the responsible project administrator. When canceling an e-course that has started, 100% of the participation fee is charged. If the e-course has not been started, no course fee will be charged if the cancellation is made within 30 days of purchase.
