Drug Solubility - a challenge in pharmaceutical development

The meeting is moved to Apotekarsocieteten Wallingatan 26A in Stockholm.

An increasing fraction of new drug candidates have a poor solubility which often causes problems in terms of low and/or variable oral bioavailability. In some cases solubility will also stop promising drugs from reaching the market. For these reasons, significant research efforts are spent on understanding how to manage solubility and bioavailability problems.
